Demo: who can do what

This demo is not on CPDL, so nobody here is really signed in. Instead, the viewer has a switch marked “Demo: act as”, next to the sign-in line above the score. It appears once you press “Suggest a correction” or “Review changes”. Pick a reader there and try the same score as each of them, from top to bottom. On CPDL itself there is no switch: your CPDL sign-in, or your ab|takt account, decides.

Open the score

  1. Not signed in

    Anonymous reader
You can try every kind of correction: suggest one, agree or disagree with one, and pick a reason. Each of them counts once. You can read every comment and the list of changes, and download the original or the corrected score. To write a comment, the viewer offers two ways to sign in, side by side: CPDL and ab|takt.
  2. Signed in on CPDL, name not checked yet

Demo: Anna (simulated CPDL user, claimed)
On CPDL the viewer can see that you are signed in, but it cannot prove the name. So Anna still appears as Reader A, now marked “signed in on CPDL”. She can write short comments without links; others see each one after a check. Her corrections still count once, and she is offered “Check my name”.
  3. Signed in on CPDL, name checked

Demo: Bernd (simulated CPDL user, checked)
Bernd’s name was checked with CPDL. His corrections and comments are listed under his name, his agreement counts double, and after his first 3 comments they are shown at once.
  4. The editor of this edition

Demo: Clara (simulated editor of this edition)
Clara stands in for the person who made this edition on CPDL. A correction she makes or agrees with is shown to everyone at once, and she can undo any change to her edition. Her name carries “editor of this edition”.
  5. Signed in with ab|takt

    Demo: Dora (simulated ab|takt user)
Choose “Anonymous reader”, then press “Log in or sign up with ab|takt” in the sign-in choice. On CPDL this opens the ab|takt sign-in at abtakt.app in a small window. Here a page marked “Demo: this stands in for the ab|takt sign-in at abtakt.app” opens instead: press “Continue as Demo: Dora”. Dora counts like a checked CPDL name and is listed as an ab|takt user. A real new ab|takt account counts once for its first 7 days, then double. You can also pick Dora in the switch directly.
  6. The review team

    Demo: review team (simulated admin)
The people who look after the viewer. They can accept or undo any change and hide comments, always with a reason in the list of changes.

ab|takt puts what your conductor says in rehearsal at the right bar of your score. Signing up costs nothing.

Everything written under a demo name, comments too, is removed every Monday. Corrections sent while not signed in stay.
